A couple of important updates to start the week.
1st one- I was advised from Administration that all sports teams will be moving to one universal information outlet for all teams. We will transition away from TeamApp by the week 1 of the game season. The new site is
www.sportsyou.com and the Slidell baseball team code is RN2P7UK4. Yes, there is an app available too.
2nd one- Nicole Lymuel took some amazing pictures yesterday during our intrasquad yesterday. For everyone wanting to see her amazing pictures, go to facebook and ask to join “SHS Tigers Baseball”.
Please order the cleats from Dick’s Sporting Goods.
We have the lunchtime concessions this week as well. Thank you to these families who helped this week with concessions: Rushing family, Green family, Coggin family, Calamari family.

COMMUNICATION IS KEY!
Keep up with your assignments, start on the right foot at the beginning of the semester. Players remember that you are responsible for making up any and all assignments when absent from school. You can use 7th hour pe to go make up any work, but you must get a pass from the teacher. Don’t forget that every morning, players are open to come to my classroom (room 501) before school to use that time as a “study hall”. Remember that grades are 1!
We are striving for the Baseball Program to be the premier Program on campus. We will strive to be the best well mannered, well behaved, least problems in classrooms, and highest grades on campus for an athletic program. Make us Proud!
A few notes to be aware of:
-The baseball gates will be locked at all times, even in the morning. Players will not be able to enter the school through the baseball gates.
-School uniforms MUST be worn properly with a school or sport polo shirt and khaki shorts or pants. Friday is the only day that a baseball t-shirt can be worn. Even if you’re wearing a sweatshirt, a school shirt is mandatory to be worn under the sweatshirt.
-No phones will be allowed to be seen at all once the bell for 1st hour rings. Teachers have been informed to make this a priority. Please do not put me in a difficult position. I will side with the teacher every time.
-Same as no phones, no headphones at all once the 1st hour school bell rings. DO NOT TEST THESE RULES. Some players have already been reprimanded for this issue.
-Be on time! Do not be late to school or classes, this is another huge point of emphasis this year.
